Description
The substrate must be dry, clean, and degreased. Welds must be thoroughly treated with a steel brush, and any slag must be removed mechanically. It is applied by spraying. When repairing galvanized objects, the area around the repaired area must also be covered with zinc spray.
Complies with DIN EN ISO 1461. WS-Zink® 80/81 is extremely resistant to corrosion and weathering. The excellent protective effect is based on the electrochemical behavior of the metallic zinc dust, which, due to its less noble structure than iron, first oxidizes in an aggressive atmosphere and then effectively protects the underlying iron structure.
